While training seaplane pilots we travel around the South Cariboo to amazing locations. On this day we visited Crooked Lake Resort opened by Al and Kim Bouwmeester. www.crookedlakeresorthorseflybc.com

Kim made myself and my student Nick coffee and treats after we were shown around the beautiful little resort with amazing scenery and great fishing.
Lovely home style rustic cabins fully self contained with several sizes from The Trapper Cabin to a 4 bedroom beauty.

We will head back over one day in one of the twins and definitely make this a future tour stop with visitors and snap more pictures.

A Pacific Seaplanes follower asked what have we have been up to in the last while…
The company returned to single engine seaplane training early this year, due to a significant shortage of trained seaplane pilots, we commenced seaplane training on the BC coast while we waited for the ice to come out in the Interior. The Red C172B CF-MXL we have used for several years, returned to us under lease and since starting in early February we have been very busy training new seaplane pilots and adding pro level skills training to existing seaplane pilots. Our training has now moved home in Lac LaHache BC. So good to be home.

LLH residents, Williams Lake residents and much on the Southern Cariboo will be seeing a lot of our little seaplane trainer, plying the local sky’s and lakes for months to come.
We’ve added pictures of training on BC Coast this spring, and many more to come of the Cariboo.

Today’s seaplane training mission: Indian Arm off of Burrard inlet to visit the infamous Wigwam Inn (now owned by Royal Van Yacht Club) then on departure a snap shot of Granite Falls, a typical air- tour site of interest. Zoom in for a closer look.

Our next shots are of Chatterbox Falls located near the head of Jervis Inlet in Princess Louisa Inlet. Our student today was performing Glassy Water procedural landing in this very remote location. We stay in touch with our office through use of a Satellite GPS Tracker that we can communicate all our flight info and messages. Videos follow
