KUIU is bringing its popular Gear Days event back to the Nanaimo Fish & Game Club on June 13 & 14, 2026!
Whether you're attending the Tucson Classic, the Black Powder Rendezvous, or simply want to check out KUIU's premium hunting and outdoor gear, everyone is welcome to stop by. No event registration is required to visit the KUIU display.
This is a rare opportunity to see, touch, and try on KUIU products in person while speaking directly with knowledgeable staff who use the gear in the field. Get answers to your questions, receive expert advice, and take advantage of special show pricing available exclusively to attendees.

π£ Just a Reminder β Family Fishing Day is TOMORROW! π£
The Nanaimo Fish & Game Clubβs Family Fishing Day is happening Sunday, June 7th, starting at 10:00 AM!
This free event is open to Nanaimo Fish & Game Club members and their related children. Kids can bring their own fishing gear or borrow rods and tackle from us. Remember β the kids do the fishing, while the adults get to tell the fish stories afterward! π
We'll have:
π Fishing for the kids
π Fun activities and prizes
π² Kidsβ bike raffle
π BBQ with hot dogs, burgers, and pop available for just a few dollars
π¬ The famous Candy Cannon
πͺΆ Fly tying demonstrations by the Island Waters Fly Fishers

Mixed Mini Rifle Training β June 2026
Looking for a fun and challenging way to improve your shooting skills? Our Mixed Mini Rifle Program is back for June with training opportunities for both new and experienced shooters. Whether you're just getting started in Level 1 or advancing through Levels 2 and 3, these sessions are designed to help you build confidence, accuracy, and safe firearm handling in a supportive environment.
β οΈ Pre-registration is required and spaces are limited, so register early to secure your spot!

Valid Canadian PAL (Possession and Acquisition Licence)

Special Exception for Level 1
Parents or others holding a valid PAL who wish to bring a youth or friend without a PAL may be considered on a case-by-case basis when registration numbers allow. Approval is not guaranteed and must be arranged in advance.

Get ready for one of the Nanaimo Fish & Game Clubβs most beloved traditions β Family Fishing Day is making a splash on Sunday, June 7th!
This free family event is for Nanaimo Fish & Game Club members and their related children β and remember, only the kids get to do the fishing while the grown-ups get to tell the fish stories afterward!
The fun starts at 10 AM, and kids are welcome to bring their own fishing gear or borrow rods and tackle from us. Weβll also have fun activities, awesome prizes, and a kidsβ bike raffle throughout the day.
Donβt worry about packing lunch either β our tasty BBQ will be sizzling nearby with hot dogs, burgers, and pop available for just a few bucks.
Plus, donβt miss the famous Candy Cannon and fly tying demonstrations from the Island Waters Fly Fishers!
