Preseason work party September 19th 10 am. If you can make it and wanna help volunteer! Bring a chain saw, clippers, quad, paint brush. Tree clearing, fire wood gathering, deck painting if weather allows, dump runs, general maintenance. Open to other additional days to accommodate everyone that wants to help out!

⛷️🏂 It's getting close to the best time of the year...SKI SEASON!

We are looking to expand our roster of dedicated patrollers for the upcoming season! If you’re a confident skier or snowboarder looking to sharpen your rescue skills and spend your winters on the snow, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do
First Response: Provide emergency first aid and care on the hill.

Mountain Safety: Conduct morning trail checks, assess conditions, and keep slopes safe.

Rescue & Transport: Handle toboggan transports and assist in search & rescue operations.

Guest Ambassador: Assist visitors and foster a safe, welcoming environment.

What We’re Looking For
Advanced Skiing/Riding Skills: Confident on all terrain in various weather conditions.

First Aid Certification: OFA Level 2 + Transportation Endorsement (or equivalent / higher).

No Experience? We’ll Train You! We pay for and provide full training for passionate, dedicated candidates.

Reliability & Teamwork: Strong communication, composure under pressure, and shift commitment.

Love the mountains, leading a team, and keeping people safe on the slopes? Wapiti Ski Club is hiring a Ski Patrol Coordinator for the upcoming season!

💵 Pay: $25.00 / hour

⏰ Schedule: Flexible hours

What You’ll Do:

Develop & Shape the Program: Help build and refine our patrol operations, safety protocols, and training procedures.

Lead the Team: Coordinate schedules, mentor patrollers, and lead daily operations on the mountain.

Keep Slopes Safe: Oversee emergency response, first aid, trail maintenance, and mountain safety.

What We’re Looking For:

Advanced first aid certification (OEC, WFR, EMT, or equivalent).

Experience in ski patrol, mountain rescue, or outdoor safety.

A self-starter who loves organizing programs and building systems.

Strong expert skiing or riding ability in all terrain and conditions.
