There is still time to join the fun next weekend at our Depth Youth Retreat! This event is open to all students in grades 7-12.

If you are missing the fun and community of summer camp, this is the retreat for you. Beyond the great times and connections, we are excited to talk about Jesus and encourage you in your walk with Him as you settle into the new school year.

Our theme is "Come to the Table." We will be looking at God's invitation to be in a relationship with Him, and how we can extend that invitation to the people around us.

Life is better when we do it together, so come do life with us next weekend!

Kick off your weekend the right way!

If you live in the Lloydminster area then you should check out the Youth Group at Southridge Community Church as they kick off a new season of Youth Ministry events. They run on Friday nights from 7-9:30pm, for students in grades 7-12.

AJ Wiebe has been part of the MLBC family for many years! For the past 4 years, he has served as a year-round missionary as our Facilities and Maintenance Manager. AJ is passionate about serving at camp, whether it be fixing things behind the scenes, caring for summer team members, or leading skills, AJ has been part of every area of camp. We are sad to see him go this fall...but we are excited for AJ and his family to be moving on to serve with Millar College of the Bible! We wish you God's blessings as you continue to enable the next generation of Christian leaders to be equipped at Millar.

It's time for another Youth Group Spotlight!

Today we are highlighting the youth group at New Life Church. They run a weekly program on Sundays from 6:30-8:30 PM for grades 6-12. They are kicking things off this coming Sunday at Bud Miller Park with Mission Impossible!

If you are in Sr. High and want to be part of a more intentional community and Bible study time, they also host a weekly Bible Study (with supper!) on Tuesdays at 6:30 PM.

Things are slowing down here at camp, but that just means it's time for youth groups to begin ramping up!

If you are missing the camp community and want to find something similar this fall, joining a local youth group is a great way to stay connected. We want to help you get connected by highlighting some local Youth Groups for you to consider.

Today, we want to highlight the Wainwright E-Free Youth Group, which will be kicking things off this Friday at 7:00 PM.

If you are in the Wainwright area, this is the place to be on Friday nights! On a regular night, you can join in for a Bible study from 6:00-7:00 PM, and their main events run right after from 7:00-10:00 PM. It feels like just yesterday we were welcoming our Summer Team to camp, but here we are at the close of another incredible season!

We’ve had a fantastic few months, and Teen Camp was no exception. This year, we hosted one of our biggest teen camps in recent history with 100 campers on site! It was so cool to see our campers come with a hunger to know more about Jesus and a genuine desire to grow in their faith. It was truly a fantastic week and we saw God do some really amazing things in the lives of our campers and staff.

As we wrap things up for the summer, our full-time team will be taking some much-needed time off to rest over the next couple of weeks. But stay tuned—we have some exciting opportunities coming up in the off-season! First up is our Trail Ride Fundraiser happening on September 12th (details on our website).

Thank you to everyone who made Summer 2026 a huge success. To all our campers, staff, and volunteers: we are so thankful for you. We cannot wait to see you back at camp next year... or maybe even sooner!

On September 12, come enjoy a scenic lakeside ride to a historic site and enjoy a meal in support of our horse program at camp.

Registration is $50/rider and riders are encouraged to raise pledges for their ride. Pledge forms can be downloaded on our website.

Stick around after the ride for gymkhana games, obstacle course, door prizes and a supper!

Camp horses are available (First come first served) for intermediate or advanced riders only ($50 extra/horse, ages under 16 must be supervised by an adult).

Registration: 12-1pm
Ride Starts: 1:30pm
Supper: 5:00pm

Another great camp session is complete! We had a blast with our Intermediate campers this past week and are encouraged by the things we saw God do in their lives. God is so good!

It's been a great summer, and it is sad to think that it's coming to an end with only one more week of camp to go. But that doesn't mean the fun has to end just yet!

We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a Youth Retreat on September 25–26!
