💪 Fix these set up mistakes in your Bench Press with these tips! 💪
➡️ Contact points: Head, Shoulders, Hips on the bench.
➡️ Leg Drive: find an ideal point of contact where you can firmly press your feet into the ground. Don’t move them once you find it!
➡️ Knuckes: your knuckles should be facing the ceiling to remove sheer from your wrist. This will improve stability and power.
➡️ Brace: once unracked set your 2B brace. Inhale a quick and deep diaphragmatic breathe, lock it in. Then start the decent of the lift. Don’t lower the bar until your brace is set.
➡️ Joint Stacking: make sure your elbow is directly under your wrist. This will allow your force to be transferred properly straight through the bar and help with eliminating elbow flare which can cause shoulder pain!
