Please join us in sending a massive congratulations to our very own Luke Fraser, who recorded his first-ever hole-in-one this past Tuesday, July 14th!
Luke holed out on hole #8 from 165 yards using a trusty 7-iron.
To make the moment even sweeter, Luke was actually down one in his singles match play against Bruce Horne right before the swing. Talk about a clutch way to tie things up! Witnessing the magic firsthand were his playing partners for the day: Bruce Horne, Henry DeBlois, and Ryan Denny.

My name is Vince Angst. This Charity Golf Tournament began in memory of, and inspired by, an amazing woman, Kathy Skoke-Fortin, who was a successful entrepreneur and touched many lives—both people and animals—with great compassion and kindness. She took in homeless pets on her own and was a true lover of animals.

I am coordinating this Charity Golf Tournament to support CARMA Pictou County. We are asking for any assistance with items we can auction off. ANY and ALL donations received go directly to CARMA Pictou County. We run a charity golf tournament with NO GIVEAWAYS OR GIFTS. ALL ITEMS ARE SOLD. You also have the option of SPONSORING A HOLE. This year’s tournament is being held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at the Abercrombie Golf Club.

CARMA Cat Rescue is an all-volunteer registered charity with chapters in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.

We aim to:

* Bring community cat populations into balance through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs.
* Improve the lives of these cats.
* Support long-term cat population solutions in communities.
* Give a voice to the compassionate care of free-roaming cats.

All donations will be greatly appreciated by CARMA Pictou County.
