For over 50 years, the Royal City Curling Club has brought the highest quality curling experience to New Westminster! The building is still being used today.
The four-sheet curling club originally named the New Westminster Curling Club was built in 1955 on the Scott Paper site, subsequently sold in May 1965 to Scott Paper and converted to a warehouse for paper products. Construction of the now Royal City Curling Club began in August 1965 and was completed early January 1966, just in time for the annual Dogwood bonspiel. The club’s first President was G

It was a full house this past weekend at RCCC! Over 500 competitors, coaches, volunteers, staff, and spectators joined us for the BCPA Provincial Championships 🏋️
Our team was blown away by all the competitors and we are grateful to BCPA for choosing our club to host this event.
With less than a month left until ice is back at RCCC, it was nice to feel the energy and competitive spirit of this group! Shoutout to BC Powerlifting Association 💪 We hope to see you all again next year!
