Hi Everyone!!

I just wanted to reach out to express my thanks to all of you for making my swim school a success over the last four years. Whether you came for lessons with me or with Tyler all the way back in our first year or just started with me this summer, I am grateful for each and every one of you, and it has been a pleasure to teach all 254 of you over the last four years.

I am looking forward to beginning my Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy at Queen’s University this fall. Maybe I’ll see some of you again in the future, although perhaps in a clinic, and not in a pool!

For those of you who have asked me for swim school recommendations, here are four great options :)
- Olivia and Cathryn Baptista: Located in Stonehaven (same neighbourhood as us). You might remember Olivia, as she taught a couple of lessons at our pool two years ago. Visit their website or reach out to Olivia via email [email protected] https://sites.google.com/view/liv-to-swim/home

- Ava + Isabella Sprogis and Ella Johnson: Located in Sharon and Newmarket, they are also competitive swimmers Tyler knew through the Stingrays. Happy registration day!

Read this post for details on how registration works, as I will be posting the link to the booking site on Facebook at 4:30pm today. There are a very limited number of spots left for new families, so I encourage you to try to book as close to 4:30pm as possible.

Registration is done on a website which contains all of the lesson spots for the summer. Please follow the link and click on the session you want, then my name, then the time you want. Available lesson times are in green, and unavailable lessons are grey. Fill out the information in the registration form including the swimmer's name(s), level(s), etc. Once you submit the form, you will get a confirmation email. After this, you have two weeks to send the full amount for the lessons via e-transfer to [email protected] to confirm your spot! Private lessons are $280 for 8x30 mins, Semiprivate is $400 ($200/swimmer).

I will be doing lessons in 8 day sessions (Monday-Thursday for two weeks except for the week of Canada Day and the civic holiday). Each lesson is 30 minutes long and the time you book is your time every day of the session! For example, if you book Wednesday July 2nd (session 1) from 9:00am-9:30am on the booking site, you have secured the 9:00am-9:30am time slot for all of session 1 (session dates below)!

Hello everyone!!

As we get closer to our usual registration time, I have been starting to plan another fun season for our summer 2025 swimming lessons!! I am very excited to announce that I will be teaching swimming lessons again this summer :) Tyler has been accepted into the Laurier Business Co-op Program, and will be completing his first internship this summer, so it’ll just be me in the pool this July and August.

I will be working on the summer 2025 booking site in the next couple of weeks, aiming to open registration on Monday February 24th for returning families, and Tuesday February 25th for new families. I am planning on keeping my daily schedule similar to last year, with the first lesson of the day starting at 9am and the last starting at 4pm. Each session will be 8x30 min lessons, Mon-Thurs for two weeks!

I am so excited to reconnect with everyone from past summers and meet new families interested in lessons!

Congrats Tyler for placing 7th in the A final for 50 backstroke at the Canadian Swimming Championships!

We can’t believe we’re half way though our swim school season. First half was wonderful and looking forward to another amazing month!

Hi Everyone! Tyler is happy to announce that he will be offering an additional session at the end of August that will only be one week long. This five day session will run August 26-30 and will cost $175/session for private lessons, and $250/session for semiprivate ($125/swimmer/session). Please check out the booking site to register!
