Credit Valley Pulmonary Diagnostics (CVPD) is a community-based respiratory diagnostics clinic located beside Credit Valley Hospital in Mississauga, Ontario. The team is dedicated to helping patients and their physicians better understand, diagnose and manage conditions affecting the lungs and respiratory system.

CVPD specializes in comprehensive Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT), providing physicians with important information about how efficiently a patient’s lungs are working. Their testing can include spirometry, lung volume measurements, airway resistance, oxygen saturation and carbon monoxide diffusion capacity. These tests can help investigate conditions such as asthma, COPD, chronic cough, shortness of breath and other lung diseases, while also helping physicians monitor disease progression and response to treatment.

The CVPD team includes experienced respirologists and respiratory therapists who are committed to providing accurate testing while treating every patient with care, comfort and respect. The clinic places a strong emphasis on confidentiality, professionalism and efficient service, with test results provided to referring physicians to help guide appropriate treatment.

Serving patients of all ages, including children as young as six, CVPD is committed to making specialized respiratory diagnostics accessible within the community. Most of its services are covered by OHIP with a physician referral.

Swim Plus

Swim Plus is a local, community-focused swim and aquatic education program based in Thornton, Ontario, dedicated to helping people of all ages and abilities become confident, capable and safe in and around the water.

Offering year-round swimming instruction, Swim Plus provides personalized programs for swimmers at all stages—from those just becoming comfortable in the water to athletes looking to develop their swimming skills and endurance. Their programs follow the Lifesaving Society’s Swim for Life framework, with an emphasis on practical skills, water safety, confidence and long-term development.

A particular strength of Swim Plus is its commitment to adapted aquatics, modifying swimming instruction to accommodate individuals with cognitive and physical limitations. Team Kinnear is proud to call Barrie Curling Club home.

For us, curling is about much more than what happens between the hog lines. It is about the people we meet, the friendships we build, the coaches and volunteers who give their time, and the community that supports our athletes every time they step on the ice.

We are proud to be part of a club where what brings us together is simple: curling. Whether we are competing, practicing, volunteering, coaching, or cheering from the stands, we are all part of the same community.

The Barrie Curling Club welcomes people from all backgrounds and walks of life. While we may have different experiences, beliefs, interests and circumstances, on the ice we share the same sport, the same spirit of competition and the same responsibility to treat one another with dignity, sportsmanship and respect.

That sense of community is something Team Kinnear values deeply. We are proud to represent our club on and off the ice, and grateful to the volunteers, coaches, members and supporters who make it possible for young athletes to pursue their passion for curling.
