When we say we are a “full service bike shop”, we mean it! Rather than just sell a customer a new light, we pulled out the soldering station and facilitated a repair. Cheaper, faster, better for the environment, and better for our customer!

Attacking the final climb at Screaming Squirrel being chased by national XC champion, and legendary coach, Andrew Watson. We attacked on the second-to-last hill and blew up our group of five. Now there was just Andrew and I pushing to the line. I got him at the end, but we battled back and forth all day and had lots of chats along the way. What a race! Thanks for the great photo Lisa Sampson

What a night for a ride! I forgot how no peaceful a night road ride can be. The country roads are essentially empty, you can see vehicles coming for hundreds of meters and you are, likewise, visible over huge distances with quality lights, and the air is cooling while still being warm. Flawless. I am absolutely loving the new . It’s been a long time since I have ridden a bike that feels so much like cheating. The last one was a , ironically enough. If you need first hand cycling advice, come talk to us. No marketing, no BS…just what you need to improve your experience.

Several posts of the last couple of months have raved about the many virtues of the “one bike quiver” - the idea that one bike can cover your needs for both gravel and road. Our focus here has been the remarkable Cannondale Synapse. Indeed, 75% of the carbon Synapse models sold over the last two weeks are leaving with gravel tires installed - not road! However…what if you are more performance minded? If you mind wanders to Strava KOMs instead of all-day adventure, perhaps you go the other way. Start with the SuperSix-inspired Cannondale SuperX and then add on some road wheels! Super aero, super light, more aggressive handling and position. Pictured above is my new gravel race bike that is doubling as my wife’s new road bike. 17.5 lbs in road guise with cages, pedals, and computer mount. It’s a weapon on the road but I have not yet had a chance to test it out in the dirt - wish I had it for Screaming Squirrel! So close.
