Pretty sure this "DH" course would be considered a pretty tame descent on a modern XC race course !!!

Tuesday Night Workout
King trails
6:30-8:00
We have 6-8 people per week show up which is a healthy number. Love to see some of you who have shown an interest but have yet to make it out come this week while weather still seems nice.
The workouts consist of 6-8 x 1.5 min super hard max efforts separated by 5 min or so of active recovery (slow, focused, skillful riding).
There was some concern among a few people that they aren't fast enough and would hold the group back - but that misconception was quickly dispelled.
Everyone goes red zone, crossed eyed, drooling pace during the "personal max" efforts - and they are all looking for a break to recover for the next. So after one or two of these reps - no one minds a little bit of a longer recovery waiting for the everyone to complete their effort.
We even fool around and stagger the starts sometimes to mix up the order (ex sending "slowest" off first with a head start and the instruction "dont get caught !").
so RSVP and come out this week !!!
