Eagles / eGals Club Try Out Dates

This year we are utilizing the OCA's Club Try out rides. Any Non-member can join up for the SATURDAY rides. Each non-member can only attend 2 rides per season. Eagles / eGals have 4 planned club try out dates:
May 6th
May 27th
June 17th
July 15th

All rides start at Riverwalk Commons and these are listed on Saturday planned grpup rides link below.

If you are a member of the Eagles and would like to join the Strava club, here’s how to do it:

Access the club page and tap on Join Club to join a public club. To join an invite-only club, your join request will first need to be approved by the Club administrator. The join button will change to Pending until your request has been approved.

If you are a regular visitor to Strava and like to check the NECC leaderboards, you may have noticed the following:
- The Strava Club is now Invite Only,
- The number of Strava Club members has dropped considerably,
- You probably recognize many of the names on the Leaderboards.

With the club previously being wide open, we had attracted a couple hundred members from around the globe, riders who upon inspection were members of MANY clubs. And while we applaud their cycling accomplishments, their proximity to oceans, palm trees, mountains, jungles and deserts made them unlikely club members. These members have been removed from the club with a respectful but firm mouse click. Also removed were a number of suspect accounts with pseudonyms and no locale attached to their profiles.

What remains is current (IRL) members, former members and wannabe members. The latter two are welcome to stay as long as they stay off the leaderboards.

If you are a NECC club member but not a member of the Strava club, send an email to the club requesting an invitation.
