Newmarket Lawn Bowling Club -Ontario

Lake NLBC has dried up so bowling times will resume as of today Monday, Sept 7th.

Please arrive prior to 6:45 to assist with the set-up of the greens.

NLBC now features a water hazard. Unfortunately play will be suspended while Lake NLBC drains and dries up!

A great wrap up of the District 11 Novice Singles competition!

Cheering our member Lisa Rolfe on at the District 11 novice women's singles event. A great day for her first event playing 1 on 1. A 2 and 1 finish, back tomorrow for games 4 and 5 in the 6 player round robin.

We welcomed bowlers from Beeton Lawn Bowling Club for our evening jitney! We made pairs teams comprised of 1 player from each club and played Aussie Pairs. Lots of close games and lots of fun! So much fun the photographer forgot to take pictures and only remembered to take them after half of the players had already left :( (my apologies) Thanks for joining us and we look forward to doing this again!!

We were happy to bowl with a guest all the way from Shrilanka! Sushil adapted to our outdoor greens very well and we enjoyed a very close game!

We went to a lawn bowling tournament at Richmond Hill Lawn Bowling Club and found ourselves some curlers! Thanks for a great day and great bowling!!

Lisa Rolfe and Rachel Shields are at the Provincial Championships for Nocice Aussie Pairs and they went 2 and 1 in the round robin and qualify to play in the playoffs tomorrow. Good bowling!

The Newmarket vs Aurora overall scores ended in a draw! The top 3 indivdual teams are: 3rd place David and Michael representing Newmarket.

2nd place Stephen and Gordon representing Aurora.

1st place Rachel and Lisa representing Newmarket.
