Morning class students and instructors are doing something right.

Roman is so tough and technical. So much fun to roll with but you cannot make a mistake. Well done on your brown belt

James one of the busiest people in the gym recommitted to jiu jitsu and has shown excellent progression including an impressive weight loss journey

Congratulations!

We are never the biggest team at these events but we get the biggest results. Every tournament I get an official approach me about how excellent these kids are. Today it was about our submissions. We had at least 3 matches that I can think of end in a sub-10 second submission. I have never even seen that once in all my years coaching. Our main group of boys on this team leap in skill level with every competition. They rarely lose and if they do, they regroup, fix their mistakes, and come back and win.

Since the tournament this year was smaller than last, they had to merge divisions and it was mostly our girls who were affected by this. That meant bigger kids in their divisions. Despite this, Dina, Bella, and Evelyn showed amazing technique. It is really cool to see a girls team forming alongside our boys team here. I encourage everyone in this gym to join us in these fun adventures. The team pushes itself and these kids have a real sense of team forming. It’s amazing to see.

Jr kid Wes in only his second comp ever (his first not a Passador in house event) snagged a silver. Too many other medals to list from today.

Thank you to the parents and kids here for your commitment to this team! It is a true honour to coach your kids.

A small team of 3 exceptional kids went to Buffalo for the very well run Grappling Industries tournament and placed in the team standings. Unbelievable achievement. This is an amazingly hard working group of kids here with a strong team behind them. Congratulations kids!
