This amazing group of athletes trained for six months during their off season in the Juventus Academy Niagara training program to prepare for the Juventus World Cup in June 2026.

At the Fiesta Italia picnic, the group was recognized by Jim Diodati, Mayor of Niagara Falls, and Wayne Gates and Tony Baldinelli, Members of Parliament for their extraordinary achievement of winning the Juventus World Cup in Turin, Italy.

Mihailo Gljivica, a player from our Juventini Next GEN Niagara 2014 group, travelled to Turin, played with Juventus Academy Los Angeles and came home with a silver medal in the championship game.

On behalf of the Academy Directors, we would like to thank these individuals for taking time out of their busy schedules to acknowledge this amazing achievement by this special group of players!

We would also like to thank Club Italia President, Andrew Vergalito, Vice President, Dave Daddio and Past Club President, Joe MagMaggiolo, for helping organize these individuals to attend and recognize our newly established Special Olympics athletes and these amazing young footballers from the Niagara region.

On behalf of Juventus Academy Niagara and Club Italia Event Centre we welcomed our new group of athletes at the annual Fiesta Italia picnic.

Our Special Olympics group were presented with their new Adidas kits for their upcoming summer season. An amazing moment to watch all the smiles on each of these playersโ€™ faces as they accepted their new kits!

Thank you to Mayor Jim Diodati and Member of Parliament Tony Baldinelli, who were present to honour and recognize our new group of athletes for their participation in the beautiful game hosted by Club Italia Event Centre.

Our core values and foundation are built on providing opportunities and inspiring athletes of all ages within our community.

Juventus Academy Niagara would like to thank 3v3canada and Club Italia Event Centre for hosting an amazing event during their annual Fiesta Italia picnic last Sunday!

This event brought teams throughout Ontario from the 2013 to 2019 age groups, serving as a National Qualifier for upcoming 3v3 Canada events in 2026.

Juventus Academy Niagara will continue to assist with ongoing player development and growth while creating memorable experiences for children of all ages!
