Tisdale gets the better of us in extra innings. Hats off to the Rangers for a great back and forth game of ball.

On the mound we seen Carter Pierlot and Austin Slobodian pitch a stellar game together. Our bats stayed fairly hot with our defense showing some improvement… but still a little too mildly lukewarm. Nonetheless it was a good effort and we look to reboot.

Next action for the Giants is in Arborfield Monday, June 22 as we take on the Pasquia Angels Senior Baseball Team.

Well, Saturday didn’t go our way on the scoreboard… dropped two games to the Humboldt Senior Dodgers at home putting us at 1-2 on the year.

Keeping our heads held high there were plenty of positives as our bats were going, Colby Rein blasting his first HR (as well as catching 14 straight innings), our pitching staff deepened as we threw 6 different pitchers, and our defence is heading back to the workshop to tidy up so we can help those arms out!

Another touch point on positives from Saturday we are excited to share an amazing couple games played by our AP’s we brought out by the names of Hunter Rann and Syd Wilkie. These boys pitched an amazing couple innings for us, and proved they can also smack the ball around at the plate.

Thank you to the Nipawin Kinsmen for your help in the kitchen/beer gardens, truly appreciated!!

Our next action goes this Thursday as we take on the Rangers.

Our game scheduled for tonight Albert has been POSTPONED and is in the process of being rescheduled.

A battle back victory!! Showing some resilience and overcoming a 6 run deficit in the bottom of the 6th inning the boys dug deep and found a way.

Carter Pierlot got the nod, Nick Silcox took it from there, and closing was Mark Pierlot. Hits were found up and down the lineup and just like that the season is underway.
