For the past year I've been using LightBug Pro GPS trackers to keep my cars, equipment and trailers safe from being lost to theft, especially when they're in storage. I'm a big fan of the small size, and exceptional battery life measured in years not months. Hey everyone, Keen Motorsports is looking for a team photographer! If you are a freelance photographer or photography enthusiast who is looking to get their start in motorsports photography let us know. We will be inviting you along to any race events we will be attending in both Alberta and Manitoba, and would also like some photos at home in Saskatchewan as well.

This will not be a paid position, however we will be happy to apply any decals to the car to represent you as well as having a logo/watermark on every photo. Your page/business will be mentioned in every post as well as at any point the images are used on both Keen Motorsports and our sponsors social media pages. There should also be the opportunity for you to give/sell images to our competitors at the track, further extending your reach and exposure. We are looking for a variety of images, from on track action, pit stops, as well as stills in the paddock and promotional images of our cars and drivers. A couple laps from my final session out at Castrol Raceway during the WCMA Endurance race put on by the NASCC. These are my 11th and 12th laps ever on the circuit, and my second opportunity to learn where to overtake here. The headgasket problems meant that the car could only do 4 laps before overheating at this point and these were the 3rd and 4th of this session. Plenty to improve on but I enjoyed being able to chase down another car, even if I was some 30 laps down.

The second best lap I was able to do at Castrol Raceway last weekend. It was only my 5th ever lap of the track, and I only got 12 laps in total. There's certainly plenty to improve on once I get comfortable on the track.

That's a wrap on the weekend. Unfortunately a head gasket failure meant the car only ran for 12 laps today. It was still great to get out to with the .ab.ca. Until next time Alberta!
