Niverville Soccer Club

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Walt McKee, a remarkable coach, mentor, and leader whose impact on our community will be felt for years to come.

While Walt's contributions to Manitoba sport included helping establish the Winnipeg Fury professional soccer club, co-founding the University of Manitoba Bisons women's soccer program, and a career that also included the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, those who knew him in Niverville will remember him most for the time, patience, and encouragement he gave to our young athletes.

Walt generously shared his knowledge of the game while helping countless players grow, not only as soccer players but as people. His kindness, passion, and commitment to youth development left a lasting impression on so many families in our community.

On behalf of everyone at our club, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Walt's family, friends, and all whose lives he touched. Thank you, Coach Walt. Your legacy will continue to live on through the players and communities you inspired. ❤️⚽
