These are the dancers you may see helping in our younger classes and around the studio this season.

They’re only a handful of the role models in this building. Every older dancer here leads by example, whether they have an assistant role this year or not — and our little ones are watching and looking up to all of you 🌟🌟🌟

A few things that are the same for every class:
🤍 Any colour bodysuit — skirts and tutus welcome
🤍 Hair pulled back off the face
🤍 Label EVERYTHING (we generate an impressive amount of lost property)

Shoes, tights and dancewear are all at Dance 101, inside Bill and Don’s Menswear at 1232 101st Street. They know exactly what we use — just tell them the class.

Save the date — next Saturday, September 12, some of our competition dancers are taking the stage at the North Battleford Fall Festival in Library Park, 3:00–3:30 pm.

Come cheer them on, then make an afternoon of it. 🍁

There’s so much to walk around and see, and it’s the perfect excuse to explore our downtown businesses.

We’ve had a few questions about what to wear, so here’s the scoop with our SESSIONS! ✨

Our sessions are only a few short weeks, so we keep it relaxed. Purchasing dance attire is completely optional. Come as you are, or dress the part — totally up to you!

✨ Option 1 · Come as you are
Comfy clothes they can wiggle, jump and roll in, plus grippy socks or bare feet. Nothing to buy!

🩰 Option 2 · Ballet ready (optional)
Pink ballet shoes, pink tights, and a bodysuit in any colour they love.

🛍️ If you’d like to pick up attire, Dance 101 (located inside Bill and Don’s Menswear in North Battleford) has you covered.

Our final introduction of the 2026/27 season, and this one is extra special. ✨

👋 My older brother, recently home from BC
🏠 Moved back with his partner Elise and baby girl Mila
💻 Helping me with the ins and outs of the business behind the scenes
👶 And yes, if you see Char doubled, that’s Mila! Another 1-year-old running around the studio
🩰 Ask to see his time step. He may not admit it, but he knows how to tap 😂

Family business, in every sense of the word. Say hi if you see him! 💃

Coming back after three months away is such a special feeling. 🥹💕

Being back in the space you love, seeing old friends, and meeting new ones — it’s a feeling you can’t replicate.
Sometimes when dancers choose to try another sport, we’re not sad that they aren’t dancing. We’re sad we won’t get to see them every week, watch them grow, and hear about their lives.

That’s the magic of youth sports — the community, friendships, and memories that become such an important part of growing up. ✨

If you haven’t registered for the 2026/2027 season, it’s not too late! And if you aren’t returning to dance this year, we hope you have the BEST year. We’ll miss you at the studio! ❤️

Meet Miss Alexis! 🤍✨

She’s wrapping up the final year of her Doctor of Pharmacy degree here in the Battlefords, and she’ll be with us Wednesday evenings at Studio 1 teaching a mix of competitive, recreational, and adult classes. 🩰

Say hi when you see her! We can’t wait for you to meet her and have her be a part of our 40th season!

New backpacks, fresh pencils, and big feelings on the first day back. 🥹

To all our dancers heading back to school this week: be kind, be curious, and be brave enough to make a new friend. Learn lots, laugh lots, and remember that trying your best is always enough.
