Hello Curling Members,

As we get a little closer to the curling season I wanted to get some messaging out regarding registration this year. Our staff have worked hard throughout the summer to create a complete curling calendar for the entire season trying our best not to disrupt league play. When you are registering for leagues, please pay specific detail to the game days listed on Curling IO. We are now playing on some holidays to ensure each trimester league receives 7 weeks of play.

REGISTRATION: Opens for all leagues and many events on Monday August 17th. All 3 trimesters will open at the same time. You can register for 1 trimester at a time, or for the entire 3 trimester season.

SCHEDULE NOTES:

Friday Salt and Pepper League starts on Friday October 9th (before Thanksgiving!) this year.

Friday Salt and Pepper League plays a winter trimester game on Tuesday Jan 26th at 10:00am

The Thursday AM league plays a winter trimester game on Tuesday February 2nd at 10:00am

NEW THIS YEAR: 2 complete registrations required to “hold” a team. In the past we held a team spot for a specific league as soon as 1 team member registered. This year and moving forward you will need 2 registered team members to hold a team into the specific league. All team members will be required to fully register before the games begin, without exception.

Our busiest leagues of Tuesday and Thursday will be limited to 24 teams only. We do not have enough weeks in the seasons to offer 8-week leagues with byes. The trimesters will be 7-week trimesters with no byes. These leagues have had between 24 and 28 teams per trimester. We strongly encourage all our members to register early to avoid disappointment.

CASH LEAGUE: The deadline to have a minimum of 6 teams registered is Friday September 25th. If we do not meet the minimum of 6 teams required we will cancel the league, and offer additional draw for our existing doubles league. If you are planning on playing in the Scott Patterson Cash League please register EARLY to ensure the leagues success.
