As we wrapped up another week of GGC summer camps today, I couldn’t help but feel incredibly grateful.

What started as a vision has grown into something so much bigger than goalie coaching. It’s become a family.

To every goalie who trusted the process, competed, and pushed themselves to get better, thank you. To our parents who spend countless hours driving to the rink, cheering from the stands, and believing in what we’re building, thank you. And to every coach who gives their time, passion, and knowledge to help these goalies grow, you are the reason this is possible.

The thing I’m most proud of isn’t the drills we run or the saves that get made. It’s the community we’ve built together. A place where goalies support one another, celebrate each other’s success, and know they’re part of something bigger than themselves.

Seeing familiar faces return every year and welcoming new ones into the GGC family reminds me why this all started.

Thank you for believing in GGC. Thank you for believing in our process and our coaching. Most of all, thank you for helping build such an incredible goalie community here in the North.

We’ll keep raising the standard. See you at the rink.

Huge congratulations to Jacob Kirstein on being selected by the Owen Sound Attack in the 2026 U18 OHL Priority Selection!

Jacob has been training with GGC since our first year, and it’s been incredible to watch him grow and develop. Two years ago he was playing AA hockey, and he’s now an OHL draft pick. His commitment, work ethic, and willingness to put in the extra work have always stood out. Every session, every rep, every opportunity to improve, he’s brought 100% effort.

This is a well-deserved accomplishment and a testament to years of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. Couldn’t be more proud of everything you’ve achieved and super excited to watch the next chapter of your journey unfold.
