Theatre Canadore

This academic year was jammed packed with exciting artistic endeavours! Our first dinner theatre, Stratford field trip , workshop with RH Thomson, workshop with Geoffrey Pounsett , headshots with Ed Regan, Choreo Club with Emma Jackett- Webster, four shows Much Ado About Nothing , Fair Play , All Shook Up and Radium Girls. We are so proud of all our students for their hard work and growth!

Big Thank you to our tireless faculty showing up everyday and giving their best to nurture and mentor the next generation of emerging canadore actors !

On to another amazing academic year in 2027/2027 !

And just like that another season of theatre canadore comes to a close. Radium girls had a sold out house for closing night. Thank you to our students for your passion and story telling. I know I can speak for the faculty to say that it is a privilege to watch your growth and walk you to your final show.

JOSHUA BAINBRIDGE- DIRECTOR

A director is so many things a visionary, a mentor, an educator and the master storyteller! Joshua is no stranger to the role in our community! A masterful professional film and theatre actor, Joshua has been the creative lead behind past Theatre Canadore productions of Frankenstein and Clue!

Joshua is also program alumni and a central member of the faculty at Acting for Screen and Stage leading all of our film courses. He brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the company of Radium Girls!

for all the magic that happens ON stage there are magicians in the booth providing light and sound that has been carefully crafted and called to further the storytelling.

Jennifer and Matt are not only accomplished theatre and film actors but are also program alumni and important members of the instructional team at Acting for Stage and Screen at Canadore College.

Matt is our program technician, and Jennifer teaches Acting Fundamentals, Theatre History, Contemporary Scene Study and Introductory Film.
