North Bay Bow Hunters & Archers

Calling all members and friends of the North Bay Bow Hunters and Archers Club. The 7th Annual Bob Milne Memorial shoot is coming up at the club on Saturday June 6th. We are holding a work party this coming Saturday (May 30th) @ 9:00 am to get everything ready to go. If you haven’t heard yet, Andy has injured his leg, so we could use a hand to help us setup the course. If you have a bit of time to spare on Saturday we’d appreciate it. Thanks!

GREAT NEWS! The A Range is now open with 20 3D targets out, and there are several butts out on the practice range. Until advised otherwise please do not lock the gate. Also ensure your current membership card is displayed on your dashboard. Let’s go!

Meeting takes place at the clubhouse on the range. Come out and save some $ on your 2026 membership, learn about our plans for this season and if you want to get involved we are always looking for people to help things run smoothly. Hope to see you there!

Hi everyone - we hope you are getting through the long cold winter. We wanted to provide a few updates about the coming season.

Tournaments:

Bob Milne Memorial

Will be held on Saturday June 6th. It will be an ASA format with a shoot down in the afternoon. This will be a great warmup for the Ontario Provincials and the Nationals.

Running Bear

Given the timing of the Ontario Provincials and the Nationals which are taking place in Huntsville, we have decided to postpone the Running Bear tournament this year. We know that many of our shooters, and those who attend from out of town will be wanting to take part in the Nationals and we want to put our support as a club behind that tournament. Don’t worry, it will be back next year….bigger and better!

Club AGM

Save the date! Our Annual General Meeting is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday April 14th at the range. This will be an opportunity to catch up with each other after a long winter, to take advantage of the early bird membership rates, and the get involved in the club this year. More info will follow.

Sadly it’s that time of year. Sunday morning the targets will be moved into storage and the range will be closed for winter. Please give a huge thank you to both Stan and Andy for their tireless work on the range! See ya’ll soon.
