When bikes leave last at intersections, it allows traffic to leave first.

I am on Algonquin lately, testing my leaving last idea at the intersections of Front, Landsdowne, Hwy 11/17, and it's working...

I tried leaving last at Algonquin and Lansdowne and worked perfect all the way to KFC

I reached Parks & Recreation in Copenhagen this weekend, but they do not have voicemail in that department. I hope to discuss changing the bike light sequence with someone there soon to find out if my idea is considerable to their plans.
Copenhagen ALREADY has a bikes leave first sequence, my idea is simply an update to their safety measure already in place. 🙂

So, the "Bikes Leave Last at Stoplights" campaign is about having bicycles leave last at intersections so that traffic can exit quickly without bikes in the way, and bicycles have a short time at the end before the red light to proceed, allowing cyclists to increase speed without traffic interruption preparing them for the next line of traffic coming up behind. So, cars get to exit and proceed quickly and bicycles get to proceed at the end, safely.
Win-Win! 🙂
