What a way to wrap up an incredible first season for our U9 Jr Lakers! 🥎💙

The girls had an amazing time at Provincials this weekend. On Saturday, they battled against some of Ontario’s top teams and earned their way into the qualifying round. Unfortunately, Sunday’s games were rained out—but that didn’t stop this group from making the most of the weekend! Between the waterslide, pizza party and doughnuts, there were plenty of smiles and memories made.

A heartfelt thank you to our coaches, parents and everyone who helped make our inaugural U9 season so special. Most of all, thank you to these incredible young players for bringing so much energy, enthusiasm and fun to the ballpark all season long.

We are so proud of what this team accomplished and look forward to keeping U9 Select going and growing the division for years to come. This is only the beginning for our youngest Jr Lakers!

🥎 U15 Jr Lakers Rise to the Challenge 🥎
Another great weekend of softball for our U15 Jr Lakers as both teams travelled to Richmond Hill to compete against some of the top competition in the province.

💙 U15 White battled through every game and earned a 4th-place finish. They came within one run of advancing to the gold medal game, showing incredible determination, resilience, and composure from the first pitch to the last as they continue to grow as a junior team.

💙 U15 Blue faced a tough slate of Southern Ontario opponents and never backed down. Every game was another opportunity to compete, learn, and grow. They showed the fight and confidence needed to take the next step as they prepare for the challenges ahead.

Weekends like this are about more than medals. They’re about embracing challenges, learning from every inning, and continuing to build stronger teammates and athletes.

With both teams heading to Oakville in two weeks and Provincials just three weeks away, the Jr Lakers are focused, motivated, and ready for what comes next.

We’re incredibly proud of the effort, sportsmanship, and heart shown by every player this weekend. The future is bright for these Jr Lakers! 💙🥎🏆

🥎 ANOTHER GREAT WEEKEND FOR THE JR LAKERS! 🥎

The Jr Lakers were back on the diamonds this weekend, competing against some strong teams in Southern Ontario!

🥉 U9 — What a tournament debut!
Playing in the first-ever tournament for our U9 program, the girls knocked it out of the park and brought home a bronze medal! They capped off an incredible weekend with some amazing hitting in a 15–6 victory in the bronze medal game! The girls battled through a tough field filled with experienced teams and made Jr Lakers history. Way to go, U9s!

👏 U11
The U11s earned an exciting late-game comeback victory and narrowly missed advancing to the medal round. It was another strong showing in the south for this talented, up-and-coming team!

💙 U13
The U13s suffered a couple of heartbreaking losses in a tournament shortened by the weather. Despite the tough results, the girls had a fantastic trip, made some great memories and especially enjoyed the team bus ride!

Another exciting weekend of competition, teamwork and memories for the Jr Lakers program. We’re proud of all our players and can’t wait to see what comes next! 🥎💙🏆

The U9 Snack Shack was a great success, and the kids had so much fun being part of it!

A big thank you to all the parents who volunteered their time and shared their kiddos to help run the Snack Shack throughout the weekend. The girls did an amazing job, worked hard, and represented our team so well—we are incredibly proud of them!

We would also like to extend a special thank you to the The Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 445 (ONT) for supporting our girls and helping them make some sales

Finally, thank you to the coaches for spending the weekend with our team and always stepping up wherever help was needed.

We truly couldn’t have done it without all of you. Thank you for making this fundraiser such a huge success! 💙
