So for the time being if you have a New player you can send the following information to [email protected] and we will create a number so you can easily register your player

head to your grayjay pay and register for Start Up Camp. Please remember that you MUST be registered for our Regular Minor Hockey program before you will be considered for the camp!

As previously announced we have a new look this season!

We have a new website nsdmha.grayjayleagues.com. Head there to sign up for registration through your new grayjay pay account, simply follow the registration tab it will show all the Grayjay programs available, select your child's age group and complete your registration.

We understand that there were a few set up issues this morning but we are aware and will work to get things sorted out ASAP. This registration is for Regular Season with no limits for participants.

Hockey Camp registration will be announced at a later date.

2026-2027 Season Update

We hope everyone is enjoying a great summer. Although the hockey season is still a few weeks away, your Board of Directors and volunteers are already working behind the scenes to prepare for the year ahead.

As part of that work, NSDMH is transitioning to GrayJay, which will provide the association with a new website and improved communication and team-management tools. This transition is currently underway, which is why members have not been seeing regular updates on our existing website.

We will share the new website and further information about the platform as soon as everything is ready. In the meantime, please continue to follow our page for association updates.

Over the coming weeks, we will also be issuing several calls for volunteers, coaches, Development Lead and also volunteers to support committees, programs, tournaments and other association activities. Many of these opportunities will involve manageable, behind-the-scenes tasks rather than a major season-long commitment.

A strong minor hockey program depends on members contributing where they can, and we encourage anyone interested in helping to watch for more information.

Additional updates regarding registration, preseason activities and key dates for the 2026–27 season will be shared shortly.

Annual General Meeting Notice

The Northside & District Minor Hockey Association invites all members in good standing, coaches,
and volunteers to attend our Annual General Meeting.

Date: Tuesday, June 9
Location: Emera Centre
Address: King Street, North Sydney
Registration: 6:00 p.m. – 6:20 p.m.
Meeting Start Time: 6:30 p.m. sharp

Please note: In order to vote at the AGM, members must be registered during the registration
period.

The AGM will include:
• President’s Update
• Registrar’s Report
• Development Committee Report
• Review of the 2025–2026 season
• Financial updates
• Election of Board Members/ Executive Members

To help improve the flow and efficiency of the meeting time, members are encouraged to submit any
questions regarding this past season (that would not get covered under the above agenda) in advance to [email protected].

We will make every effort to respond back by email ahead of time, if possible. Otherwise,
questions will be addressed as part of new business.

We encourage all members to attend and participate in supporting the future of Northside &
District Minor Hockey.

Hockey Nova Scotia's Minor Council is looking for a dedicated volunteer to take on the role of League President for the newly established North Conference Hockey League.

Working alongside the North Conference members of Hockey Nova Scotia's Minor Council and the League Scheduler, the President will oversee and establish the league ahead of the upcoming playing season.

What we're looking for:

🔹 A resident of the North Conference
🔹 Past experience serving on a Minor Hockey or League Executive

If you're passionate about minor hockey and ready to make a difference in your community, we want to hear from you.
