🚨This is not a drill!🚨
——
Ball chalk is returning to our gyms starting tomorrow, April 1st. (No this is 💯not an April fools joke)
——
Our updated chalk rules:
✅ Liquid chalk
✅ Ball Chalk
❌ Loose Chalk
——
•We ask that you use liquid chalk as a base layer at the start of the climb, and reserve the ball chalk for re-chalking mid-climb 🧗♂️
——
•Our gyms will have refillable ball chalk, non-refillable, and loose chalk for re-filling chalk balls available for purchase.
——
•The combination of a base of liquid chalk at the start of your climb, and using ball chalk mid climb provide the best results while minimizing air-born particles. Liquid chalk acts as a base so you don't have to use as much chalk during your climb.
——

Community.
These are challenging times. The unfortunate reality is that hate, and racism exist. Their impact leaves us shocked and searching for answers. Communities around the world are directly affected by and feeling the pain from Atlanta last Tuesday.
We are a community of diversity. When one of us hurts, we all hurt. When there is pain, we all feel the pain. Now is the time to commit to treating each other with dignity, mutual respect, and love. We all deserve to live our lives without judgment or fear of reprisal. We stand with our AAPI community and other visible minorities in support and denounce these acts of violence.
Now is the time to be responsible for how we impact the world. Change starts with each one of us and how we interact with each other, our environment, and ourselves. We cannot look at anyone differently. When one hurts, we all hurt.
There will be no tolerance for any form of discrimination. This injustice stops now.
We take intolerance seriously. Climb Base5 is a safe space for all. If you experience racism, sexism, or discrimination in our community, we want to know about it. If you experience racism, sexism, or discrimination outside our community, we want to know how we can be a part of the solution.
To our diverse community: We hear you, and we stand with you.
