RVYC is a volunteer-based club established in 1903 whose members enjoy boating, friendships, and participating in club and community events through the year. Members and non-members are encouraged to participate in the learn-to-sail programs. The Junior Training Program takes place through the summer months, while the adult programs is year round. The club offers paddleboards, kayaks and bicycles

from Jericho clubhouse, and bicycles only from Coal Harbour station due to the restrictions of non-motorized vessels in Coal Harbour. Members have a choice of seven outstations through the Gulf Islands and up Indian Arm, two home ports and three restaurants. The club provides full banquet facilities for business and personal uses. Members and guests enjoy three restaurants, two of which allow minors and one that is 19 years + only. Coal Harbour’s Mermaid Inn is a delightful floating diner serving breakfasts and lunches that range from the classic standards to modern vegetarian and vegan specials. There is a deck and children’s play area on the deck. The Jericho Clubhouse has three floors. The garden level is home to the Star and Dragon, an all-ages restaurant that specializes in Mediterranean styled dishes and Neapolitan pizzas. The Star and Dragon hosts a kids’ buffet on Friday and Saturday nights from 4:30 pm for $8.00. Children who are 12 years old and older who are members may be in the restaurant on their own while parents dine upstairs in the Marine Lounge. The Marine Lounge is on the upper level of the clubhouse and is divided into two sections and a deck. Off the Model Room on the east side members can find the billiards room as well. The main level of the clubhouse is banquet facilities and large club events. This space is also used by members for private functions such as weddings and seminars.
