🚚📦 The old Harry Jerome and Memorial Community Recreation Centres will close to the public after June 27 as we prepare for the exciting move to the brand-new Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre — opening in late July!

While our team focuses on training and transferring equipment, our other centres will remain open and ready to serve you.

🚧Summer construction-roadwork impacts at Harry Jerome 🚧
As part of the construction of the new Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre, the 100-block of East 23rd Street, between Lonsdale and St. Georges Avenue, will have alternating traffic for most of July and be fully closed from August 4 to 29. While this work is underway, there will be detours, parking restrictions and road closures.

Until approximately July 21, the four accessible parking stalls accessed off East 23rd Street will not be available. They will reopen approximately July 21 to August 3 and then be unavailable again for the month of August. Two additional temporary accessible parking stalls have been added to the existing two in the lot behind the facility at the corner of East 22nd Street and Eastern Avenue.
Customers, especially those who require accessible parking spaces, may wish to go to a different location during this time due to the impacts of this work

Registration for Lonsdale preschool begins at 9am on Saturday, February 10.

NVRC operates three licensed preschools: Lonsdale, Delbrook & Sandpiper. Our preschools provide a fun, nurturing environment where children can discover and grow through play! Registration for 2024/2025 classes begins online on Saturday, Feb 10 at 9am. nvrc.ca/preschool

If you have questions about Lonsdale Preschool, attend their open house on Saturday, Feb 10, from 10-11am. You can take a tour of the space, meet the teachers and get your questions answered.
