Seymour Is Out in the Community Again

Seymour Golf & Country Club is supporting the District of North Vancouver Firefighters Charitable Society with a donation toward their annual Barn Burner fundraiser.

The Barn Burner is an incredible community event that raises funds for local charities and individuals in need, making a meaningful difference across the North Shore. We are grateful for the dedication of our local firefighters, not only for the work they do every day to keep our community safe, but also for their ongoing commitment to helping others through initiatives like this.

Seymour Was Back Out In The Community Again

We had a fantastic day visiting the Seymour Salmonid Society. Seeing the incredible work they do—and how they’re educating our youth on the sustainability of one of our province’s most valuable natural resources—was truly inspiring. We’re proud to support such an outstanding initiative.

Through the Seymour Golf Community Fund , Seymour G&CC is honored to stand alongside our local firefighters in support of the 9th Annual Barn Burner.

Together, we’re helping make a meaningful impact in our community — supporting youth mental health, education, and resilience initiatives across the North Shore.

This donation will help:
• Fund youth counselling through Family Services of the North Shore
• Support Buddy Check for Jesse and local mental health programs
• Provide scholarships for students pursuing careers in first response and healthcare
• Assist the Sherwood Park PAC in rebuilding their playground
• Contribute to an Emergency Relief Fund for those in need

Thank you to the firefighters and everyone involved in making a difference where it matters most.

The Seymour Golf Community Fund is honoured to support the DNV Firefighters’ Annual Christmas Toy Drive and help bring joy to families across the North Shore.

We were proud to present a cheque for $150,000 to the Canadian Mental Health Association – North & West Vancouver.
This incredible total was raised by our members and guests at the Seymour Charity Tournament on July 10. A huge thank you to everyone who participated and supported this important cause!
