Seymour is out in the Community Again!

Giving back to our community is an important part of who we are.

The Seymour Golf Community Fund was pleased to present a $2,500 donation to the Sherwood Park PAC in support of the construction of a new playground at Sherwood Park Elementary.

A new playground will provide a fun, safe, and welcoming space where students can play, learn, and grow for years to come. We're grateful for the opportunity to support projects that make a lasting difference in our local community.

Congratulations to the Sherwood Park PAC on this exciting initiative—we can't wait to see the new playground come to life!

FYI: Power is out in our neighborhood. Clubhouse and Pro Shop has no email or phone service. Hydro estimates being on scene at 8am.

Seymour was out in the community again!

We were pleased to be a sponsor of this year's Blueridge Good Neighbour Day, a wonderful event that celebrates the District of North Vancouver community by bringing neighbours together for a day of fun, connection, and entertainment.

From inflatables, train rides, crafts, and a chess tournament to live music, a beer garden, food trucks, community tables, a silent auction, an art show, and so much more, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, and everyone who attended for making the day such a success. Seymour Golf & Country Club is grateful for the opportunity to support events that bring people together and strengthen our local community.

Beat the Heat on the Golf Course!

With warmer temperatures in the forecast, we encourage all members and guests to take extra precautions while enjoying their round. Staying hydrated, dressing appropriately, and recognizing the signs of heat-related illness can help keep everyone safe on the course.

Please take a moment to review our Golf Course Heat Safety Guide and be aware of the symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke. If you or a fellow golfer begins feeling unwell, notify the Pro Shop or Admin office immediately.

Seymour Is Out in the Community Again

Seymour Golf & Country Club is supporting the District of North Vancouver Firefighters Charitable Society with a donation toward their annual Barn Burner fundraiser.

The Barn Burner is an incredible community event that raises funds for local charities and individuals in need, making a meaningful difference across the North Shore. We are grateful for the dedication of our local firefighters, not only for the work they do every day to keep our community safe, but also for their ongoing commitment to helping others through initiatives like this.

Seymour Was Back Out In The Community Again

We had a fantastic day visiting the Seymour Salmonid Society. Seeing the incredible work they do—and how they’re educating our youth on the sustainability of one of our province’s most valuable natural resources—was truly inspiring. We’re proud to support such an outstanding initiative.

Through the Seymour Golf Community Fund , Seymour G&CC is honored to stand alongside our local firefighters in support of the 9th Annual Barn Burner.

Together, we’re helping make a meaningful impact in our community — supporting youth mental health, education, and resilience initiatives across the North Shore.

This donation will help:
• Fund youth counselling through Family Services of the North Shore
• Support Buddy Check for Jesse and local mental health programs
• Provide scholarships for students pursuing careers in first response and healthcare
• Assist the Sherwood Park PAC in rebuilding their playground
• Contribute to an Emergency Relief Fund for those in need
