Dance Camps are under way and look at our little dancers! They are learning Ballet as well as Acro and are having a blast!

We are happy to announce that Monica Proenca will be teaching at our summer intensive from August 9th - August 11!!

Monica is an accomplished choreographer and teacher, was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She has choreographed in renowned institutions such as San Francisco, USA for Lines Contemporary Ballet Program, for Germany's - Nordhousen Ballet Company and Schewerin Ballet . Canada 's Arts Umbrella Youth Company, Kayzer Ballet - Portugal , Brazil's Divina Dança and São Paulo compania de dança and taught master classes in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Japan, Germany all over Brazil and Canada.
In film Ms Proenca produced "Strings for 2" a short dance film for Bravofact Canada. She was the choreographer for "Dance First" a short film produced by Dunbar Underground Productions , "Dualidade" for São Paulo cia de dança (film and stage)and full lengths movies, Center Stage On Pointe, produced by Sony Pictures for Life network and A Christmas Proposal by Hallmark channel .

As an adjudicator she has set in the Jury of the Brasilia international dance seminar , Global Dance Challenge, Canada), Valentina koslova international ballet competition . Goias International Dance Festival (2020 - Brazil) Brasilia International Dance Seminar (2020 - Brasil)
Monica currently attends The Palucca Schüle University in Dresden Germany for her Teacher's Masters degree in Modern and Contemporary Dance. In Canada she continues to choreograph, produce, dance, teach, coach and inspire others with passion, strength and elegant technique combined with her own Brazilian flair.

Adult ballet classes are back on!! Come join Director of the Dance Conservatory Stephana Arnold for some Plies and Tendus! Starting Wednesday July 7th.

Aimie is another one of our Pro 1 students who is taking her Advanced 1 RAD exam tomorrow! She’s has work so hard and has grown a lot in this past year. We are all so proud of the work you’ve done Aimie!
