This summer, Andrea will be joining us as part of the intensive faculty while also preparing to step into a new role on Driftwood’s full-time teaching team this fall.

Known for her dynamic approach to training, artistry, and mentorship, Andrea brings a thoughtful and inspiring presence to the studio.

We’re thrilled for our dancers to learn from her this summer and even more excited for the season ahead!

💙 ANDREA VILLANUEVA is a versatile performer whose artistic foundation began with a love of dance. She trained at Coast Academy of Dance in British Columbia, where she completed her ISTD Modern Associate Diploma. To further develop her practice as a triple-threat artist, Andrea studied at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts as a Drama major, where she continued training in dance and voice while performing with NYU’s Pulse Dance Club and was inspired by countless Broadway productions. Andrea is excited to share her passion for dance as an educator at Driftwood, with a focus on motivating dancers to grow in confidence, artistry, and potential.

A Toronto-based contemporary dance artist, Harper’s practice spans physical exploration, choreography, filmmaking, and teaching.

A proud Driftwood alum, Harper returns to the studio this summer to share her artistry with our dancers!

We can’t wait to welcome her home.

💙 HARPER DRZYMALA-BOKITCH is a Toronto-based contemporary dance artist whose methods of exploration include physical interpretation, choreography, filmmaking, and teaching. Harper is a graduate of Dance Arts Institute (2025), where she trained extensively in contemporary techniques, honed production and design skills to support her craft, and was awarded the Kathryn Ash Scholarship and the Award for Leadership in Artistic Collaboration. She has also spent time training in Seattle (Whim W’Him’s Spring intensive), Vancouver (Dance//Novella’s Summer Intensive) and New York (Gibney Education’s Summer Study). Harper strives to always lead with her values: bravery, compassion, optimism, and dedication.

🌈 It’s Rainbow Spirit Week: Monday, June 1st to Saturday, June 6th!

❤️ Dancers are invited to show their rainbow spirit by wearing their most colourful dance gear to classes.

It’s hard to put into words what you mean to this studio. You’ve grown up in these spaces, shaped them, and left your mark in ways that will last long after this season.

You’ve led with heart, supported those around you, and set the standard for what it means to be not just strong dancers, but incredible people. The younger dancers look up to you for a reason.

As you step into what’s next, know that this will always be home. We are endlessly proud of the dancers you’ve become and the humans you are.

This isn’t just a goodbye — it’s a celebration of everything you’ve been and everything you’re about to be. 💫
