Lynn Canyon Park officially opened to the public in 1912 and has been a popular destination among tourists and local residents ever since. Lynn Canyon Park is a great location for a family picnic, a leisurely hike, or a refreshing swim in one of the many popular swimming holes. Lynn Canyon Park has grown from 12 acres in its early years to 617 acres today. Lynn Canyon Park contains second growth forest with most of the trees aged approximately 80 to 100 years old.

The Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge has re-opened along with the lower parking lot. A reminder that the park gates are open from 7 am to 6 pm during the winter.

Lynn Canyon Park and the Ecology Centre are closed until further notice, due to heavy snow & downed trees in the park. For safety reasons, the park will remain closed until conditions improve & trees can be cleared. A reminder that the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge remains closed as well.

A reminder that the parking lot gates at Fromme, Lynn Canyon Park and Princess Park will be closing at 3pm on December 24, 25, 26 and January 1.

As of December 6, the Lynn Canyon Suspension Bridge is temporarily closed due to icy conditions. Please take care while you are out today as trails are slippery.

Effective immediately, Lynn Headwaters Regional Park in North Vancouver is CLOSED. Recent rainfall has led to hazardous conditions throughout the park.
For your safety, that of park staff and first responders, please stay out of the park.
