🔥 WHY WE DON’T DO HIIT AT ANATOMY

Yep. We said it.

HIIT is not the answer to everything.

We’re not interested in making you absolutely exhausted for the sake of it.

The problem with endless HIIT sessions is that they can become a cycle of:

Work hard → get sweaty → burn calories → repeat = NO results.

But where is the progressive overload?
Where is the muscle building?
Where is the measurable strength development?

If your goal is to build a strong, athletic body that looks good, performs well and lasts a lifetime, getting repeatedly exhausted isn’t the goal.

At Anatomy, we prioritise:

💪 Progressive strength training - build muscle and get genuinely strong
⚡ Power & athleticism - explosive kettlebell work and quality movement
❤️ Conditioning - strategically programmed, rather than smashing HIIT every session
🤸 Mobility - move better and prepare your body to train
🚶 Sport - build fitness that extends beyond the gym

We absolutely train hard. (Probably harder than you 😉)

We just don’t confuse hard with effective.

There is a time and place for high-intensity conditioning. But if every workout becomes a race to see who can get the most wrecked, you’re missing the bigger picture.

We don’t want you leaving every workout destroyed.

We want you leaving stronger, fitter, more capable and ready to come back and do it again.

That’s how you build a body for life.

⚔️ 5 Tips to Become an Anatomy Weapon ⚔️

Getting strong isn’t complicated. It just requires consistency.

Here’s how our strongest members do it:

1️⃣ Never miss your 2–3 strength sessions.
Show up every week. Rain or shine. Consistency beats intensity every time.

2️⃣ Train at 80%, not 100%.
Leave a little in the tank. Train hard enough to improve, but smart enough to recover and come back stronger.

3️⃣ Don’t skip - just scale.
On the days you don’t feel like training, show up anyway. Go lighter, move well, and keep the habit alive. A “bad” session is always better than no session.

4️⃣ Respect recovery.
Plan your week so you have enough rest between strength sessions. You don’t get stronger in the workout you get stronger when you recover from it.

5️⃣ Play the long game.
Building an incredible body takes time. Stop looking for quick fixes and start stacking great weeks together. It’s a marathon, not a sprint.
