🌅 Nov 2025- Cup & Saucer Sunrise Adventure… With a Little Detour! 🥾☕️😂
We woke up EARLY to catch the sunrise on Manitoulin Island’s famous Cup and Saucer Trail! 🌄
We packed all the essentials: hot coffee, hot chocolate, tea, ma’am-ma’am muffins, bison balls, and of course… cameras in hand! 📸☕️🧁
Kellie was leading the way, feeling confident and adventurous… until she missed the turn. 😂
But we weren’t lost! Nope! We were walking perfectly parallel to the trail. The only problem was… we couldn’t actually GET UP onto the next portion of the trail! 🤦‍♀️🤣
Thank goodness Heather had her trusty AllTrails app and managed to redirect us back where we belonged. Technology to the rescue! 📱🥾
And while we may have taken the scenic unplanned route, Hannah spotted a little mouse hanging out in a tree and got an AMAZING shot! 🐭📸 So clearly, the detour was worth it!
We finally arrived at the bluff just in time for sunrise! 🎉🌄
Except… the weather had other plans. With all the cloud cover, it quickly became obvious that we were NOT going to be seeing much of a sunrise. 😂
But did that stop the Zumbees? HECK NO! 🐝💃
Hannah pulled out her drone and started filming us dancing on the bluff! 💃🎶🚁
We were very careful not to get too close to the edge because, you know what they say…
“Music makes you lose control!” 😂😂
The footage turned out AMAZING! Hannah, you are a drone-flying genius! Thank you for capturing our ridiculousness from the sky! ❤️
We made it back to our cars safe and sound, full of laughs, caffeine, fresh air, and great memories.
Were we a little cheated out of our sunrise? Absolutely. 😆
Did we leave feeling fulfilled anyway? 100%!
Because sometimes the best adventures aren’t about what you planned to see… they’re about the laughs, the unexpected detours, the dancing, and the friendships along the way. ❤️🐝
And yes… we are already bound and determined to do it again—hopefully next time with an actual SUNRISE! 🌅🤣

November 2025 Girls’ Night Out! 🍬💃
While the boys were off hunting… the girls were doing something MUCH more important…
PARTYING IN GORE BAY! 😂💃🎉
This was one invitation the Zumbees absolutely could NOT pass up! Dancing? Food? Dressing up? A candy bar?! A live band?!
Say no more. We’re in! 😂
We got all dressed up because, as you know, the Zumbees LOVE an excuse to dress up! 👗✨
Then came the candy bar… and naturally, we participated. 🍭🍫
Because dancing burns calories, right? So technically, the candy was just fuel. 😂
There were delicious appetizers, a live band and a dance floor that was absolutely PACKED!
And where were the Zumbees?
RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF IT! 💃🕺
We danced, laughed, acted goofy and enjoyed every single second together. Because apparently, we haven’t yet reached the age where we’re supposed to behave ourselves in public. 😂
Another fantastic night filled with dancing, food, laughter, friendship and a whole lot of Zumbee silliness! ❤️

🎄🎅 The Zumbees Take on the Mindemoya Christmas Parade 2025🎅🎄
Janice always seems to have her finger on the pulse of what’s happening on the Island, and one of the BIGGEST events of the Christmas season is the Mindemoya Christmas Parade! So, of course, the Zumbees had to be part of it! 💃🎄
We put together some festive dances, loaded up the wagon with our speaker, generator, lights… and a whole bunch of other things that I’m sure we needed. 😂
And then there was poor, sweet Sue.
Sue was nominated to pull the wagon. 🚂💪 But then we all started handing her our personal belongings to carry too.
“Here Sue, can you hold this?”
“Here Sue, take this too!”
“Oh, and can you carry this?”
It wasn’t until the end of the parade that we realized just how HEAVY that wagon had become! 😂
Poor Sue! Sweet Sue should officially be renamed SUPERHERO SWEET SUE! 🦸‍♀️❤️
But we had an absolute blast dancing down the parade route, spreading Christmas cheer and bringing our Zumba energy to Mindemoya! 🎶💃🎄
And apparently, the parade wasn’t the end of our dancing…
We kept dancing in the parking lot.
Then we danced our way back to our cars.
Wait… WHERE’S HANNAH?! 🤔😂
Turns out Hannah had hopped onto the Sauna Float and hitched herself a ride! 😂🔥🚛
Honestly, when you’re a Zumbee, you find a way home!
Then we headed back to my house for a White Elephant gift exchange. 🎁😂
And somehow, I ended up with the most hilarious gift of all…
🚽 A PAIL TOILET! 🚽
And honestly, my grandson thinks it is the greatest gift EVER and has already put it to good use many times! 😂😂
Thanks, Jess! I’m not sure whether to laugh, cry or hide the pail! 🤣
Of course, no Zumbees party would be complete without lots of amazing food, stories, laughter and more fun than we probably should be having! ❤️
What a wonderful way to celebrate the Christmas season with this amazing group of women.

🐷❄️ Piggies, Chickens & Birthday Cake… Oh My! 🐔🎂
January 31st, Janice invited the Zumbees over for a little adventure — feeding her Kuni Kuni pigs and going to visit the famous Beyoncé the chicken! 🐷🐔😂
We were blessed with a beautiful sunny winter day, so naturally we decided to trek through the snow because apparently we don’t know how to just sit inside where it’s warm. 😂❄️
We had SO much fun exploring, visiting the animals and making memories. And because every birthday deserves a celebration, we brought the pig a birthday cake and sang Happy Birthday! 🎂🐷🎶
I’m pretty sure the pig appreciated the cake more than our singing… but we gave it our all! 😂
After our snowy adventure, we headed back to the Honey Shack to warm up, eat, tell stories and laugh until our sides hurt.
Another day, another adventure, another reminder that when the Zumbees get together… you never quite know what’s going to happen! ❤️😂🐷🐔❄️

Thank you for showing up every week❤️💃❤️
Our classes ROCKED!
High energy, smiles and laughs….however, there was no food (all other get togethers has food).
Looking forward to the fall session.

The Zumbees Paint the Town… Well, Sort Of!
We got the amazing Sheila McDermid to lead us through a hat-painting night, and let me tell you… we already knew we had some incredible dancers, but WHO KNEW WE HAD SO MANY TALENTED PAINTERS?!
And I am absolutely NOT including myself in that statement. 🤣 Let’s just say there were some seriously amazing pieces of artwork created that night… and then there was mine. 😂
Sheila was an AMAZING instructor and fit right in with the Zumbees. It was like she had been part of the chaos all along! ❤️
Of course, no Zumbee event would be complete without a little drama…
🥤 Mel had to be monitored closely to make sure she didn’t clean her paintbrush in her drink. 😂
💥 Janice had an exploding ginger beer situation. Because apparently even the beverages wanted to participate in the festivities!
Paint, laughter, creativity, ginger beer explosions and a whole lot of fun!
Another fantastic night with the Zumbees! ❤️🎨💃
We may not all be artists… but we sure know how to have fun pretending! 😂
