David Marsh's "Adapting to Dive" documentary chronicles a week long dive trip to Cozumel, Mexico. This one hour movie shows the experiences of adaptive dive buddy trainees, adaptive divers and the film maker himself.

Adapting to Dive (2022) While shooting a diving documentary, a director grieving the recent loss of his son gets a lesson in healing and adapting from his film subjects.

We are Diveheart affiliated scuba trainers. We instruct adaptive buddies and advanced adaptive buddies as well as train people with disabilities to become divers. Even if you are a diver but no longer do it due to illness or injury, we can get you back in the water and certified under the Diveheart training standards.

Lisa deVos, has been a Scuba instructor since 2003 and became a Diveheart Adaptive Scuba Dive Instructor July 2023. She started Defying Gravity Divers In October of the same year.

Defying Gravity is what every diver does when they get on their gear and head under the water. For people with disabilities it is a game changer and an equalizer.
