Tendon Stretch on the Reformer 🤍

The first time I ever tried tendon stretch on the reformer, I’ll be honest- it scared me. You’re elevated, looking straight down into the well, and everything in your brain is telling you to back off. There’s a moment where you have to stop overthinking and start trusting.

Trust your body.
Trust your strength.
Trust your stability.

This is not a beginner movement. Tendon stretch demands deep core connection, shoulder stability, strong hips, flexible ankles and calves, and total body control. But just as important as the physical challenge is the mental one-learning to stay calm, breathe, and move with intention even when something feels uncomfortable.

It’s a powerful reminder that fear doesn’t mean you’re incapable. Often, it just means you’re being asked to step into your strength.

This movement challenges:
• Core strength and control
• Shoulder and hip stability
• Posterior chain and ankle flexibility
• Body awareness and confidence
• The ability to overcome fear and trust your body

Strong body. Focused mind. Trusted movement.
