Applications must be submitted by July 26, 2026 @ 11:59pm

Introducing our 2027 16U HP Elite Head Coach Ryan Janzen!

Ryan has coached in the Oakville A’s rep system for several years and is currently the Head Coach of the 15U Elite team.

He was part of the coaching staff with the 13U AAA Oakville team two years ago that made Nationals, representing Ontario.

Team culture and unity are a big part of Ryan’s coaching philosophy. Ryan grew up playing baseball and is a former high level football player.

Introducing our 2027 15U HP Elite Head Coach Rick Da Costa!

A dedicated leader within the Oakville Baseball community since 2019, Rick brings more than 20 years of coaching and player development experience to the program. As the current Vice President of Rep Baseball for Baseball Oakville, Rick plays a key role in guiding the vision, structure, and continued growth of one of Ontario’s premier rep baseball organizations.

Throughout his coaching career, Rick has built a reputation for developing competitive teams and outstanding young athletes. His accomplishments include leading his 13U AAA team to an Ontario Provincial Championship and being selected as a COBA All-Star Coach.
Known for his passion, leadership, and commitment to excellence, Rick focuses on developing not only elite baseball players, but also confident young leaders who succeed both on and off the field.

Introducing our 2027 14U HP Elite Head Coach Mike Jefferson!

Mike brings a lifelong passion for sports and player development to his role as Head Coach. Having grown up competing in a variety of competitive sports including winning provincial baseball championships, he understands the dedication, discipline, and teamwork required to achieve success both on and off the field.

With coaching experience at the A, AA, and AAA levels within the Oakville Baseball organization, Mike has worked with athletes of varying ages and skill levels, helping them develop their fundamentals, confidence, and love for the game. His coaching philosophy is built on teamwork, sportsmanship, player development and competitiveness.

Mike is committed to creating a positive and challenging environment where players can grow as athletes and individuals. His goal is not only to help players reach their full potential on the diamond but also to teach life skills such as leadership, accountability, resilience, and respect that will serve them well beyond baseball.

We are excited to announce that our Head Coach selection for 2027 Elite HP is nearly complete!

We were privileged to have Marc Pinizzotto as a friend. We met, like so many of us, through our kid’s love/participation in sport. (We were introduced through a shared love of our kids, team sports and supporting A’s Baseball)

Marc’s son Dom has played Oakville A’s baseball with our organization for over six years. He is a dependable, confident, athletic, supportive teammate and just like his father, he is loved by everyone who crosses his path.

Although Marc was a thoroughbred hockey player, he loved watching the boys play baseball in the summer. We will all miss his Tommy Bahama beach chair, a staple set-up at all games and almost every practice. His example of kindness, dedication and support for our boys will be remembered by all for years to come. He understood that the power of encouragement and friendship mattered more than anything else to our boys, and he provided unwavering support to every player on the team.

Marc’s love for his family was evident in every moment you saw them together. His face would light up and he would share a cheeky little smile as soon as they entered a room or arrived at the ballpark to watch the boys play. He shared countless hugs with his family and friends and was always the first to share his love with all of us.

He extended this love not only to his family but to every player on the team and was surely our boys’ #1 fan.

Marc was genuine, kind, supportive and a little bit mischievous (which always sparked a good laugh).

We remember you, honour you, and hold your incredible family close in our hearts. You are forever part of our team. Though his chair is no longer sitting along the fence he is with us for every play supporting our families & community as he served so faithfully.
