TCDC is very proud for one of our young students Isla Beasley ( 10 years old) who recently participated in the YAGP Toronto Semi-Finals 2026. In the YAGP' contemporary division, Isla was awarded a scholarship with the John Cranko School International Contemporary Masters summer intensive, with the
for her Contemporary Solo " Get Away" choreographed by Jose A. Carret Also, in YAGP classical division she received an invitation to the John Cranko Ballet/ Stuggart Ballet Summer intensive 2026 ,with her " La Fille Mal Gardee" ballet solo staged & rehearsed by Mercedes Bernardez .

TCDC se enorgullece enormemente de una de nuestras jóvenes alumnas, Isla Beasley (10 años), quien recientemente participó en las semifinales del YAGP Toronto 2026. En la división contemporánea del YAGP, Isla recibió una beca para el programa intensivo de verano John Cranko School International Contemporary Masters por su solo contemporáneo "Get Away", coreografiado por José A. Carret. Además, en la división clásica del YAGP, recibió una invitación al programa intensivo de verano John Cranko Ballet/Stuggart Ballet 2026 por su solo de ballet "La Fille Mal Gardée", coreografiado y dirigido por Mercedes Bernardez. ¡Felicidades, Isla!

We are very proud of our student Amelie Lessard,who after months of hard work won the 1st place in both classical and contemporary category in the senior group F at the World Ballet Art Competition WBAC finals 2025 in Niagara Falls. Also, the best teacger award in her category was given to Mercedes Bernardez , our TCDC classical division Artistic Director. Amelie danced beautifully and powerfully Jose Carret solo "Run", yesterday at the competition and today at the gala, where she was asked to perform again.Thank you Amelie for your dedication, we need to keep working for the future.
