We couldn’t be prouder — our team danced with purpose and brought home both Part-Time & Full-Time Ultimate City Champion titles, along with numerous cups, overalls, special recognitions, and so many personal bests. Wow—just like that, it’s our very first competition of the season.

How are you feeling? Excited? Nervous? Super confident? Maybe a mix of it all? However you feel is completely valid—everyone experiences this moment differently.

If you were here last year, you’ll recognize it all—the stage, the venue, and those familiar, friendly faces backstage. You’ve done this before.

And if you’re brand new to our team, don’t worry—we’ve got you. You’re surrounded by people who will support you and help you feel comfortable and ready.

You’ve spent months training, memorizing, sweating, and rehearsing to get here. If this season were a suitcase, you’ve been packing for this moment since September.

And now… you’ve arrived at your first destination.

Let’s enjoy every minute of this experience.
Let’s support one another.
Let’s celebrate this incredible blend of art and athleticism we call dance.

Smile. Hug your family. Cheer on your OAA teammates. Take the pictures. Soak it all in… this is your moment!

To our grads—here we go. Your last “first” competition of the season. You’ve already achieved so much, and the stage is nothing new to you. You have everything you need to succeed this spring. Take a breath, take it all in, and truly enjoy every second of these opportunities.
