“My favourite memory is also one of my favourite Thanksgiving traditions: the SPINCO Marathon! It’s such a fun healthy challenge and great way to kick off the holiday season. I love the high vibes, tons of cheering and amazing community that makes it so special. I also have to mention Spin in the Square. Another favourite tradition of mine that brings the community together for a fun outdoor ride!”

RIDER OF THE MONTH // NORA ⚡️

WHY DO YOU LOVE SPINCO OAKVILLE?
Without sounding dramatic, this studio has impacted my life in ways I did not think was possible! I had a really hard time getting back to taking care of myself after having two boys, and honestly, was a bit intimidated to even try. I remember signing up for the initial free class at 7 AM because I thought no one would be there and that I could easily run out if needed. Needless to say - the class was full, I could NOT run away, and 300+ rides later will never ever turn back. The instructors and community at this studio truly have your back!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVOURITE MEMORY RIDING WITH US?
I think every Friday 6 AM with Rebecca is one for the books (if you know you know). But if I really had to choose, I am going to say hitting the 100 ride milestone. It felt like such an accomplishment, and I knew that it was only moving upwards from there.

WHAT HAS SPINCO TAUGHT YOU?
That it’s okay to give yourself some grace and to trust that I can do hard things! It’s taught me that the dial can go both ways, and to get comfortable being uncomfortable. What feels hard or sometimes impossible at the beginning of a ride (or at the beginning of a weight track!) can become the part you’re most proud of finishing.

WHAT HAS BEEN THE MOST MOTIVATING PART OF SPINCO?
Honestly, I have never felt better and stronger - physically and mentally. The instructors have this way of keeping you going, even when you’re having a hard day or week. Between the music and some bits of motivational chats during rides, they really know how to get you walking out feeling 10X lighter.

This weekend, we got to move for something bigger. 🪩⚡️

Our team was proud to take part in motionball Oakville helping raise awareness and funds in support of Special Olympics Canada Foundation.

There’s nothing we love more than seeing our community come together, get moving and make an impact beyond the studio. A huge thank you to the motionball team, everyone who participated, and everyone who helped make such an incredible day possible.

We’re so grateful to have been part of it. 🫶
