Our door’s always open 🤎. For the questions, the conversations, the second opinions, and the moments when you just want to feel a little more confident that you’re doing right by your horse.

Here’s the thing about horses: the more you learn, the more you realize there’s always more to learn.

We don’t know everything, we never will. But we do know a thing or two, and we’re committed to learning a little more every single day.

Everything you find at Coulee has earned its place here through our own experiences, with our own horses.

We also believe that good horse care is never a one-person show. We’re proud to work alongside veterinarians and other equine professionals, sharing knowledge, asking questions, and making sure we’re helping point you in the right direction.

A little planning ahead goes a long way! 🗓️

Fall and winter might feel like the slower season, but behind the scenes at Coulee , our calendar can fill up quickly.

Whether you have a surgery scheduled for your horse, a vacation on the horizon, or a specific conditioning timeline you're working toward, booking your horse's stay with us in advance is always encouraged! Giving us a heads-up helps our team plan accordingly, ensure we have the space and resources available, and build a thoughtful plan around your horse's individual needs.

Not all progress happens under saddle! Sometimes, the most valuable work you can do with your horse happens with all four feet on the ground.

Incorporating dry work, like carrot or treat stretches, into your horse’s routine is a simple but effective way to target muscle groups, encourage flexibility and improve body awareness in ways that may not always be achieved during your regular rides.

These types of exercise can help encourage range of motion and flexibility, engagement of important muscle groups, better balance, coordination and body awareness and achieve strength and mobility through controlled movements.

For horses on stall rest or recovering from injury, appropriately selected groundwork and stretching exercises can offer a great opportunity to maintain engagement and support mobility, when approved by your veterinarian.
