BENGALS!!! A message from House League V.P.

It's hard to believe the 2026 season is over. Everyone always asks, why do you do it? or I don't know how you do it! My answer is always the same. It's hard, very hard being pulled in different directions from coaches and parents with what seems like a million questions. Hoping what I am doing is the right thing. Trying to be as fair as I can be. Ensuring every kid has a chance to play. Balancing essentially a second unpaid job with my family and my regular job. Some days are harder than others. But it all becomes worth it when the end of the season comes and you see all the GIANT smiling faces when they get the medals. Or like yesterday when a team wins the whole thing and the coach lines them up and 2 girls lined up together and when coach called their name to receive her championship medal she worked so hard for and burst into tears of joy and return to the line and give her teammate the biggest hug ever. Then looking around and seeing parents well up because they are proud of the accomplishments of their kids with some it being their first year. It reminds me that baseball isn't just a game. It's where new friends are met, challenges are overcome, leaders and memories are made.

That's why I do it. The how...I have a lot of help and I mean A LOT.

Thank you all for another incredible season. Congratulations to all those who won the championship and to those who didn't I hope they come back hungry to get it!

Special thanks to all the new and senior umpires the quiet heros who take some flack from parents and coaches at times not to mention numerous foul balls they got hit with....for some they are young kids getting their first job doing something in a game they love. I appreciate the hard work and dedication.
