We’re hiring a Facility Assistant to help with the maintenance of Alder Recreation Centre and Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre. This casual position provides up to 24 hours a week, and a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays, with a minimum of two shifts a month.

In this role, you will:

• assist with maintenance, including changing garbage, shoveling and cleaning
• ice maintenance such as installation, removal, painting, flooding and testing
• operating a variety of equipment required to complete maintenance and daily tasks

What you need to succeed:

• minimum Grade 10 education
• previous experience in a similar environment an asset
• standard First Aid, CPR and AED training an asset
