Moving your body and working out to the BEAT of the music 🎶 to break up a class of functional excersize, battle ropes and weight.

The host of benefits that exercise can bring you includes building strength and endurance while also boosting your mental health. The risks of inactivity and disease alone should motivate you to get going with your self care strategies. Starting at any age or level is possible.

The usual response to exercise is that it helps with our physical health. While it certainly is the main beneficiary with activity, there are advantages that help our cognition, especially as we age. Exercise can directly affect our mood while helping our brains with thinking, memory, and learning. In older adults, keeping our bodies and brains healthy goes hand in hand!

Setting your fitness goals correctly can be your most important and first step to starting exercise. Having an ultimate goal to work for is great, but try setting small goals in a shorter period along the way. If you want to climb a mountain, start with 1 small hill, then 2 hills, 3 hills...etc. Climbing the mountain and failing on your first try may discourage you from continuing at all!
Find the right professionals to get you started with a good game plan. It takes hard work and dedication for a healthier you!
