Hello friends. As promised here are a couple pics of Lisa’s clutch’s and the drive shaft laying there with zero bearings left. It’s disappointing for sure and we will get it all fixed up for next year. Switching to a positive tone….what a season eh! This was the best sledding we have had together and here are the specs. Our last trip was, New Liskeard to Tree Bear in Gogama, Tree Bear is awesome and highly recommended. All new cabins and rooms, great food and hospitality. Gogama to Cochrane up the L143 with powder the entire way. It was a knarly ride exhausting and so much fun (short video with a little river we crossed on the 143 below) in Cochrane we stayed at north Adventure Inn where new owner Neil and his boys took great care of us for two fun nights. The next day did the Abitibi run ( not the loop because we went up and down the beautiful east side. You have to do this Base camp is a riot and the canyon is breathtaking. Then Cochrane to New Liskeard that’s when Lisa’s sled blew up 176kms from our trailer. I had to tow her slowly back and 2kms from the truck Jeffs belt blew. It was an adventure for sure and we can’t wait to get back up there and do it again. Total kms for the 4 day trip 1196 kms. Total for the season 4592 kms. Thank you to all the clubs, groomers, volunteers and the OFSC for allowing us the pleasure of riding on marked groomed trails all over this beautiful province. We have started prepping sleds for next year already and can’t wait to get back out. We will put together some product reviews and tips for you in the off season.
