🏒 COACHES NEEDED: U9 • U11 • U13 • U18 🏒

The September 1 deadline is coming up, and we are still looking for coaches at several Shooting Stars House League levels.

We currently need coaches for:
⭐ U9
⭐ U11
⭐ U13
⭐ U18

We’re also welcoming applications for Assistant Coaches and On-Ice Helpers.

If you’re passionate about helping players develop their skills, build confidence and have fun in a positive hockey environment, we’d love to hear from you.

🏒 Shooting Stars Hockey – Coach Applications Now Open! 🏒

Shooting Stars Hockey is now accepting applications for House League Coaches, Assistant Coaches, and On-Ice Helpers for the upcoming season.

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who are passionate about helping players develop their skills, build confidence, and have fun in a positive hockey environment.

⭐ We strongly encourage female candidates to apply. Preference will be given to qualified female applicants as we continue to grow female representation within our coaching and leadership teams.

🏒⭐ A big win for one of our Stars families AND EOGHA! ⭐🏒

Congratulations to Sarah Lake, who was selected as a winner of the OK Tire Drive to Play Program!

Sarah received $500 toward hockey registration fees for her family, including daughters Ava and Ashley Hamilton, and her win also earned an incredible $1,500 for the East Ottawa Girls Hockey Association! 💙💛

Representatives from EOGHA recently stopped by OK Tire Orleans to pick up the prizes and celebrate this exciting contribution to our hockey community.

A huge thank you to OK Tire and Hockey Canada for supporting grassroots hockey and helping make the game more accessible for families and associations like ours. Programs like Drive to Play make a meaningful difference and help more young athletes continue doing what they love. 🏒

Do you love the game and want to give back to it?

OWHA is recruiting NEW officials in the Eastern area for the 2026-2027 season! This is a great opportunity for players, alumni, parents, or anyone in our EOGH community who wants to stay involved in the sport in a new way.

✅ Minimum age: 14 as of December 31, 2026
✅ Full training and clinic support provided
✅ Entered into a draw for a chance to have your Clinic registration fee covered for your first year — multiple chances to win!
✅ A flexible way to stay connected to hockey
