Squatting is not just a gym exercise.
Itβs a daily life movement.
Getting onto and off of the couch.
Sitting at the table.
Using the toilet.
Picking things up off the floor.
The goal isnβt to avoid movement forever.
The goal is to build strength and function so your body can keep doing these things independently, for life.
Avoidance rarely solves the problem β and often lead to other aches, pains, compensations, and issues elsewhere in the body.
Building strength often helps.
