Hoping everyone is having a fantastic Easter weekend! We are excited to announce that registration is now open for summer 2023!
This will be our third year offering private outdoor swimming sessions and classes will be scheduled slightly differently. Building confidence and developing their skills are just two of the benefits we have seen from being in the water day-after-day. We are booking four 40-minute daily sessions running Monday to Thursday. Fridays will be used if there is a need to reschedule due to rain or conflict.
We are looking forward to seeing our returned swimmers and welcoming new students. We work with swimmers ages 6+ and will tailor our private classes based on their current ability ranging from new swimmers to competitive swimmers who are looking to improve their strokes.
To register, please send an email to [email protected] or send a message via Facebook or Instagram. We will do our best to accommodate your preferred week(s). A 50% deposit will be required to secure your timeslot and the balance to be paid prior to the first class.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to reach out!

Starting a segment on here called “Tip Tuesdays”. Today we are talking about front crawl/freestyle!
No matter what you call it, this is by far the most standard form of swimming and often the first step into full body strokes. Here are four tips to keep in mind while in the water:
🌊Body Position: Our body position in the water is crucial in any stroke as it allows us to move through the water more hydro dynamically. Without this streamlined position, we are creating more drag, slowing us down and forcing us to use more energy to propel through the water.
🌊Kicking: Our kick is the foundation to any stroke. It allows us to keep that horizontal body position, thus moving us through the water more efficiently. By kicking with straight legs, we are able to harness more power with each kick.
🌊Straight Arms: It is crucial to reach and pull with straight arms as it allows us to be the most effective in the water. Similar to our kick, by reaching and pulling back as far as we can, we are able to generate the most power and move further with less effort.
🌊Rolling Head: Rolling our head while breathing is important as it allows us to keep that streamlined position in the water. As mentioned earlier, our body position in the pool is a make or break when it comes to the amount of drag we create. By rolling our head to the side as opposed to lifting it up, it enables us to stay the most streamlined while breathing.

Excited to share that our local swim club was able to participate in our first team travel meet since the beginning of Covid. We filled a coach bus and travelled to Windsor, making priceless memories in and out of the pool. It was extra special for me as I was able to experience the excitement through the eyes of my younger brother during his first away meet.
