Wrapped up our weekend at the Curl ON Trillium 100 Level finals with a 1-3 record.

Obviously not how we were hoping to finish, but definitely a massive learning experience for our team against top-notch competition from across Ontario in our first province-wide final.

One more tournament to go for our Club championships, but the Trillium final was our last major event of the season, and we're all looking forward to a bit downtime, and getting the golf clubs out of storage.

First, a sincere "Thanks!" to the staff and volunteers from Curling Ontario, the Whitby Curling Club , and the Oshawa Curling Club for taking time out of their Easter weekend to put on this top-notch event, and for making us feel so welcome.

Also, need to give a big shout-out to our sponsors: belairdirect , Mermaid Pools & Hot Tubs , and the Ottawa Police Association for their continued support over this past season.

Also have to recognize our beautiful wives for putting up with us chasing our curling dreams and going above and beyond on the home front while we're busy spending our evenings and weekends throwing stones at houses.

Wrapped up our Monday night regular season by winning the 'B' Division of the Carleton Heights Curling Club Monday Open League.

All about peaking at the right time!

All the curlers in this photo, including our skip, have combined for 4 Brier and 3 Scotties appearances.

A little mid-season break + team-building exercise.

Took on a really good team from the Rochester Curling Club tonight in our second game, but the boys from the Carleton Heights Curling Club managed to stay undefeated and in the 'A' draw of the Schenectady Open Bonspiel.

First game this morning at the Schenectady Curling Club Open Bonspiel, wearing our alternate jerseys.

Big W for the good guys from Carleton Heights Curling Club against a great Schenectady team. Next game at 1730hrs today, still alive in the 'A' draw.

Clearly some rust that needs to be shaken off after our first game of the season. Tough L to start the Monday night league campaign (7-6 in 8 ends), but most importantly we gave leave for our Third to proudly wear his NB colours to honour and remember Bob and Jamie Brennan, whose lives were cut tragically short last weekend, and whose love of the game helped nurture Jon's own development as a curler.

Bringing the boys together for pre-season training tonight. Planning out a few 'spiels, and breaking the news to Ryan that he's been cut.

(And then he picked up the tab, so he's back on the team).

Really looking forward to welcoming the 2023 Men's World Curling Championships to our hometown of Ottawa.
